JUst been watching it, I can see why it's called the blood moon now, really spectacular. It doesn't look like the moon at all, just a huge red ball in the sky.

..... We did see. The weather was perfect for viewing. Had the eclipse been a day later it would have been a washout so to speak.

I took some pictures on my old SLR, but I didn't have a trigger so it's possible they will all suffer from camera shake. I'll post them when I get them developed.

The moon was really blood red.

If you check out the sun pm bulletin at Welcome to ITVLocal.com you will see them at the end in the weather bulletin.

They have also called me today for more info, as they may be used in a slot int he main bulletin tonight ;)
