The Car & River festivals have been cancelled this year. Could Stratford's one-trick-tourism-pony be running out of puff?

Once again BID provides such great value to those that fund it.

I have yet to see a BID that delivered value. Mostly they have cost businesses and offered very little in return.

The 'focus on education' angle doesn't fit with me. I suspect other motives behind the cancellation.

Considering the weather, they did very well.

Quite impressive, considering the multiple muck-ups over the last few years.
