Good move by the MoD securing its supply chain (and maybe gaining a few voters for the Conservatives!). I hope lessons were learned when British Steel was owned by the taxpayer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-57997858

Not sure I agree, Lex. I suspect that the MOD is going to overspend on steel. If this was really a good idea I think BAe and the likes would have been queuing up.
