Sad. But it does show just how fickle the tourist business can be.

When I travelled as part of my job it was amazing how frequently hotels changed hands. You'd book in under one owner, then a couple of days later you'd get a bill, the balance being due to the new owner on check-out. It played havoc with my expenses and almost drove our bookings girl to a nervous breakdown at times.

Hotels change hands in Stratford with great frequency, which says a lot.
