I've avoided starting a thread on the hospital before, as there's been a big money raising effort to help pay for it, which really got my heckles up as I already pay enough into the bl**dy government's coffers, which should have paid for the whole lot: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-40868557

I wonder how long before yet another hospital that the people paid for is sold off to the Tories' friends?

I remember a university talk years ago by (I think) a Warwick hospital administrator. I wasn't impressed. To start with she forgot her notes! That really instilled confidence. But what really wound me up (and I didn't half let her know it) was her attitude to patients. As far as she was concerned, they were inconvenient lumps of meat that needed treating!

Agreed Lex. It simply isn't good enough.
