Oddly, the requirement for a loo is something that befalls all of us. For many it isn't as simple as going before you leave home and surviving until you return. Whilst I appreciate money is tight closing loos isn't necessarily the solution, in fact, it might well cost more in the long run. This will leave a greater dependency upon businesses who provide loos for their customers and the subsequent cost for maintaining them, which, will ultimately be passed on to the customer and will likely cause some to reduce fluid intakes in the hope of avoiding the need to rush around finding a loo and invite health problems or, equally drastic, have some feel they cannot go out in case they need a loo.

Also, oddly, we all pay Council Tax, surely a public loo is a basic, human right, not a luxury to be pruned from council budgets and in the interests of public health should be provided for.

Public toilets are the right of a civilzed country but let's face it many things we have been accustomed to over the past 100 years are being slowly eradicated, or priced beyond the general public's reach.Trains and other public transport systems libraries. Water , gas, electricity and heating all are incredibly expensive now.We pay more and get less.
Think the pre Victorian era, before the advent of the 'new technological inventions and modernisations.
That will be this country in 10years time as the Governments erode our living standards.
