Girl safely rescued after 'incident on Coventry bridge'

Police were called to an incident on a Coventry bridge yesterday evening (May 17). Officers were dispatched to Hen Lane in Holbrooks.

Concerns were raised for the welfare of a teenage girl at around 8.35pm. Firefighters were also reportedly called and seen near the A444.

Police told CoventryLive that the girl was rescued, and the incident was safely resolved. She is now being supported by other agencies, Coventry Police said.
