I've got it on in the background. The sound will be muted once I've found something to watch on Netflix.

Didn't bother, I'm not a football fan. Apparently, the local pub was as full as they were allowed before kick-off.

I'm not a regular fan of football, but it was because Scotland was playing England that I thought it would be exciting to follow. My sister's husband is a real footie enthusiast.
I thought England had a few good chances but Scotland were the stronger team, though it ended with a nil, nil score.

I have a theory that professional players (especially those who play foe English national/league teams) couldn't give a s**t what the result of a game is, because they get payed the same no matter what the result is, so why should they put any effort in.
