This is actually quite a budget for me, with the Income Tax threshold rising, and the freezes in alcohol & fuel taxes (although Mr Hammond will be quids in with VAT on fuel, with prices on the up): https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46010550

I thought it a 'nothing' budget. What I do find interesting though, is the apparent abandonment of his previous 'no borrowing' strategy.
I'm going to take a guess that there might just be the possibility of a general election around the corner.
