I'm a great believer in the stupidity of the human race - and I include myself in this! (take the log out your own eye etc...). I'm often amazed how long the human race has lasted as long as it has.

That is bordering on pathetic. Ok, so most footballers are overpaid fairies (if a rugby player rolls around on the floor clutching his shin, he'll be genuinely injured), but they should be allowed to get away with a bit of 'blokey' behaviour.
PS, despite that, I do find it funny, but then I'm just a big kid!

As long as he's taken adequate steps to 'educate' the ticket issuer that might well be an interesting case to watch. The Judge could award quite 'generous' expenses to the ticket holder.
