Many can only visit on Sunday. Whilst I appreciate the need to reduce costs, I'm not sure this is a positive move.

Libraries opening on Sundays were a godsend a few years ago when I was studying for my professional qualifications, as they gave me somewhere warm and dry to study away from the distractions of home.
