It will get to the stage where vigilantes start taking action due to the inactivity of the authorities. People really have had enough of clearing up after this scum.

Bl**dy ridiculous. Once moved on they ought be banned from anywhere in the county for 6 months.

I still think we ought confiscate their vehicles to defray expenses and clean up fees. - There's some nice (expensive) motors there!

At least this is getting them off the parks & playing fields, but I still don't see why travellers need permanent pitches: http://www.nuneaton-news.co.uk/Councillor-slams-plans-emergency-gipsy-site/story-28200132-detail/story.html

Travellers travel don't they? If not, they're not travellers but simply people who live in caravans.

Somehow, I don't see this idea working very well as there are already sites around that travellers won't use. The locals don't seem very happy either. - I've a mate who lives out that way, he's had his gates stolen twice within as many months. - Travellers?

You really can't blame them can you? They're picking up the cost for clean-up etc. it simply isn't right.

I can't blame them at all, with what they've had to go through with the travellers over the last few months.

This is exactly why people don't want travellers hanging around: http://www.rugbyadvertiser.co.uk/news/local-news/video-travellers-leave-human-excrement-and-household-waste-outside-rugby-primary-school-1-7104022

As I've said before, people don't object to the true Gipsies as they respect the land and you'd be hard pressed to see where they'd ever been.

What we're seeing is an infestation of didicoys, tinkers and travellers, which are not the same at all. These are the scum of the earth. They pay nothing, take everything, and expect others to clean up their sh*t!

Put up a couple of swings & slides, and I'm sure the travellers will be queueing up to use the site: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/local-news/land-southam-earmarked-official-travellers-10566961

Exactly! I've always felt I should respect others' beliefs, and other's should respect mine, but if people just take the 'proverbial' they can just sling their hook and do one.
