Erm, Blair didn't help this country- you're right there. The article does mention rape on men too. If education is what is required, why do educated people rape and get raped? Rape is the sexual violation of a person's body. It isn't open to educated progress but an act that is criminal in theft of that person's dignity and is devoid of their permission to do so. Abortion in our educated legal society is a medical procedure with legal constraints. We could argue all day long whether it is educated to allow abortion for what ever reason or not. The fact is in this country it is widely available for pregnancies under 14 weeks and up to 24 weeks but only for medical health reasons for those from 24 weeks to under 28 weeks. The word ' Abortion ' per say encompasses all abortion much of which is and was illegal and is educationally ignorant of the medical and health implications it can carry if those standards are disregarded. Pornography is a much wider topic which one can argue began in ancient times- eg- Karma Sutra circa 200CE. It is when it crosses the boundaries from what is deemed decent to indecent and offensive to one as opposed to innocuous to another. The greater norm would win the vote and in that the educated vote as with child pornography compared to adult indecency. this is neither a cultural not a feminist view but one that permits freedom of speech and freedom of thought. They haven't yet found a way of leishing that or have they? The police are in danger of succumbing to a nanny state regime of ' you can't do that and you can't do this '- its not like it used to be where they as a body and as individuals were respected across the board. The Blair Government and its legacy have dealt them too many rules to enforce about which cultural and belief differences are fundamentally built into the increased populace made from the influx of nations and creeds so that they have less meaning to one group as opposed to another. In that they are culturally driven to respond but the law is the law and rape is rape whether it is being done to a man or a woman. It crosses all creeds, colours, races, educational levels, financial brackets, and ages. Abortion affects all of these too as does pornography and abuse- child abuse and that of vulnerable adults. The media in all of its forms has a responsibility to educate, the trouble is people run media resources and people are open to corruption. If you are Christian then Life from the beginning was born out of corruption in Adam and Eve or was that seduction?

I rest my case.
