This is the tip of a very nasty financial iceberg. The education sector has been running a very questionable financial model for years. Expect more F.E. establishments to seek help.

I've never worked for this group, but I have friends who have. The stupidity and pettiness that has gone on in the group are unbelievable.

This is usually the problem, Lex. Nothing will change, and they'll be back in a couple of years with the begging bowl again.

I worked as a consultant in the private sector. The first rule was to remove all of the senior management, as they were responsible for the present situation.

I remember signing up for a FE course at Leamington College after I left school. One of the 1st things the head of the course said wad "We're here to make money" (I nearly walked outat that point). It's a shame they couldn't live up to that.

Many Cov Uni lecturers told me it was all about 'bums on seats!'
