I wonder what would hapen if public finances were subject to the same requirements & audited to the same standard as private enterprise....

The PM and her chancellor are a pair of chancers. They've not even let the OBR do any calculations about what's been proposed.
It's a 'sh*t or bust' gamble, and if growth doesn't come quickly the country will be paying off loans for decades to come. The markets haven't reacted well to it, there's a reason why. - Look at the early 70s when this was tried, it didn't end well.

I have a feeling this is going to go horribly wrong. Truss came up with this rubbish to get voted in as party leader, and damn the consequences; a tactic that didn't work for Comrade Jezza either.
