Stockport was merely the catalyst, not the root cause. (Obviously, the murder of 3 young girls is dreadful and must not be overlooked for political gain.)

There are some very interesting reports online if you know where to look, most doubt that Starmer has the ability to put the lid on this, and many suggest his actions are inflaming the situation and driving dissent underground. As many say, we need to have a grown-up discussion about what is actually going on and how it might be handled.

Sir Tony Sewell has written a particularly interesting piece in the Daily Telegraph.

Interesting article. I, and others I've talked to, have been wondering about a backlash against the Thought Police. Stammer seems to be employing the same tactics he's using with the Labour Party - sqush descent. Sadly for the PM, it'll just squirt out in a different direction, causing him problems that'll put any Conservative infighting in the shade/
