Go to the book shops in Market square if you want to know anything about Atherstone.
Ihad a good chat with a couple f them about Atherstone in general. Ilived there many years ago.
It's changed--but the people haven't.

The bookshops are good.
I picked up a copy of 'Chairman Mao Tse Tung's Military writings' (one of his little red books) from there last year I didn't know I wanted one 'til I saw it -- it was so cheap,and perfect condition I'd got to have it. Haven't read it yet -but I have got it, so one day ......
