Here's something I knew nothing about until 5 minutes ago.

Hundreds of people will be heading into Atherstone town centre for the annual Dickens Night this Saturday (November 25).

The festivities will begin at around 4.45pm with Santa's procession through Market Square, before the big Christmas lights switch-on at 5.30pm.

Visitors will then able to walk around the square and enjoy rides, tombolas, puppet shows and market stalls.
