I always think library staff are very under-rated. Plenty have really helped me over the years.

A couple of years ago I learned that if you haven't used your library membership card for a while it then expires. Fair enough I don't mind that , but it took me by surprise when I did visit a library she informed me that my card had expired. There never used to a limit like that, as at one time you could just go in and choose what ever book you were after, even if your weren't a regular user.

Warwickshire libraries are (IMO) far better than Coventry libraries. For years I had access to old newspaper databases via my Warwickshire membership.

I haven't really used the libraries for a few years, but when I was at college I used to spend a lot of time studying in the old Warwick library (in the days before it was moved to Shire Hall), as I found it a lot peaceful than the college library.
