Are there any plans for the Queen's Jubilee in Coventry, Warwickshire & Solihull?

Round my way, a picnic's being planned alongside the local beacon being lit, plus a street party - both over the Bank Holiday weekend

I'm not aware of any, other than the extended bank holiday. I fondly remember the jubilee celebrations of 1977, especially the group of girls I spent the night with in Earlsdon. ;)

Watching recent events, I'm not so sure The Queen is actually going to make this. :(

Yes, she seems to be increasingly doddery. :(

My local has hoisted a 'Jubilee' flag. That really seems to be the limit round here.

That's a shame, Rebbonk.

I think I'll give it a miss, Lex.

I hope the local pub is better supplied for next weekend, I'm told they ran dry of some drinks earlier today.

The Beacons were a huge draw. My local do was a big success: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-61681296

I have seen and heard nothing, apart from the local church hall opening extra hours on Friday for its usual Cafe run.
