But then, the BBC seems to plonk everyone in the same basket. I was listening to a report on Radio 4 this morning which seemed to imply that even giving up on luxuries was the end of the world (ie., Auntie Beeb's overpaid, Guardian reading journalists are having to forego their 3rd foreign holiday this year).

We really shouldn't need foodbanks in this country and most I see using them hardly look half starved. But, we are where we are and if it stops food going to waste and if it helps those genuinely struggling, it can't be all bad.

I honestly find this disgraceful. There ought to be no need for food banks in a country as rich as ours.

Another side observation... Those using food banks hardly look starving, do they?
