Every VE Day 80 event in Nuneaton and Bedworth listed

Events will be held in both Nuneaton and Bedworth town centres to mark VE Day 80. CoventryLive revealed that one of the biggest to be held on Thursday, May 8 will be a Freedom of the Borough parade.

In recent years, Nuneaton town centre has played home to several proud parades but, to mark VE Day 80, an event is being held in neighbouring Bedworth town centre.

It will see both the 30 Signal and Queens Gurkha Signals regiments proudly exercise their right to parade through the borough. Just four regiments have been given the Freedom of the Borough since 1907: The Junior Leaders Regiment; the 30th Signal Regiment; The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and the Queen's Gurkha Signals.
