Dozens of locals sent polling card for WRONG Nuneaton ward
The council has admitted the mistake

Dozens of locals have been sent polling cards for the wrong Nuneaton ward. While Warwickshire County Council elections are taking place on Thursday, May 1, it is Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council which is responsible for sending out the polling cards.

It has been revealed an error led to residents on a new estate off Gipsy Lane in Nuneaton being sent cards for the wrong voting area. The cards were sent out to seven streets with 62 properties, containing 52 residents on the electoral register.

The streets were Bunting Place, Fieldfare Crescent, Firecrest Way, Jackdaw Close, Nuthatch Close, Redstart Way and Waxwing Gardens. The issue was spotted by borough councillor Michele Kondakor, who raised it with the Town Hall.
