Celebrate the Patron Saint of England!
I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter this year?

Warwick Town Council celebrated the event for the first time after proding form the Local Conservative councillors and we were lucky to have a bit of sunshine for the weekend. The event was a roaring success and hope to build on the celebration next year.

A day for all to be proud of being English. Falling on Thursday 23rd April, St George’s Day is the national day of England, but oddly it is not celebrated in England as much as other countries.

Traditions for the Patron Saint of England include wearing a red rose on your lapel. This doesn’t seem to be as popular as flying the St George’s cross, many pubs are seen decorating their premises with the red and white flag.

Why not lobby Local/National Political figures in your area for a ST GEORGE'S DAY holiday ??? :clapping:
