Major new exhibition explores what fired young Shakespeare's imagination

HOW William Shakespeare became the most famous writer who ever lived is told in a major new exhibition.

Becoming Shakespeare, dedicated to exploring the playwright’s formative years and enduring creative legacy, opens tomorrow (Saturday), at Shakespeare’s Birthplace in Stratford.

The exhibition places his home town of Stratford-upon-Avon at the heart of what made Shakespeare such an important artist.

The visitor journey, created in partnership with Sarner International, unfolds through a series of curated spaces.
