The Barford Bypass is opening ahead of schedule. We only had to sacrifice some beautiful scenery to do it, and now congestion problems should disappear from the area!
I suppose there was no choice, but rather then save this village and it's listed buildings and bridge, I think it's ruined it.

The spot where I walk my dogs now has a lovely view of the new bridge, and from such a distance too.. Used to be just a church spire and one old cottage in site. ho hum, more progress. when are they starting on the J15 roundabout bypass?

The new flyover for the A46 seems to be working well. Admittedly, I haven't used it during peak times, but now I've got used to the complications of navigating it I think it's really good.
