I'd say here is a good start, but you've already taken that step. What are your interests? I have quite a few local groups in the 'Warwickshire Links' section, see if there's anything there which may be of interest to you. Welcome to the forums!

Thanks Will I've had a look and there are a couple that interest me. Looking for more social and sport activities rather than particular hobbies.

NP, I assume you've checked out the sports links section too? There's quite a few there and some are reasonably close to, if not in warwick. Let us know how you get on.

Scuba Diving? Sailing? Any particular sport you had in mind? I rather fancy the idea of bee keeping, but dont have the land |

Cycling group would be ideal but prefer something a quite slow paced...or walking. Also quite keen to try something new.....used to do dragon boating but not sure if there is such a thing around here?? |

There used to be a cyclists touring club in Warwickshire, I wonder if they're still going. |

I asked the all knowledgeable Mr Google to see if he knew. It is a 20th Century style of treasure hunt. Wikipedia says: Quote: Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure", usually toys or trinkets of little monetary value. |
