I heard an interesting little fact the other day. Apparently there is a farm somewhere in Warwickshire called Bag End Farm, where a young JRR Tolkien lived with his relations for a while. Which is obviously where he got the name for Bilbo Baggins's house in The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, etc. Thought that was an interesting fact worth sharing. Does anyone here know exactly where it was? |

great, isn'it? there is a picture there, that shows a footpath from bag end towards the black mountains.... wonder if it goes under hill and over hill.. might have to go for a day out.
