The meteors from the Orionides peaked last night, but as tonight is clear and has no moon, it shoudl be good viewing from 11pm. Take a look to your east

Arg I missed this post, would have loved to glimsted that. I saw am amazing meteor in New Zealand, it was incredibly bright and it broke in two half way across the sky. Was a real privilege to have seen such a thing.

They will still be about for the rest of the week, but not as intense. As it happens we suffered from cloud cover last night anyway. Should still be good for the remainder of the month on a cler evening.
