King Charles to visit West Midlands and public told they can 'greet' His Majesty

The public has been informed that they can 'greet' King Charles during his special visit to Lichfield Cathedral this month. Revd Jan McFarlane, Dean of Lichfield, expressed her excitement and honour at welcoming His Majesty to the church.

Before heading to the cathedral, King Charles will be visiting a local venue, which remains undisclosed, on Monday, October 27. Inside the church, he will meet with invited guests, including volunteers and choirs from the local area.

Although entry is exclusive to invited guests, arrangements have been made for those who wish to greet the King upon his arrival, reports Birmingham Live. A viewing area for the general public will be established around The Close, with entry commencing at 9am.
