I have just clicked on to word association..the word was 'to', which made me smile(you all may not think it funny but I do)
I had an aunt by who was very clever BUT would never admit to being illiterate.
She wrote me a card on my wedding day which said "to Flo" .
Just that! Her name was Flo and forever after that we called her ...To Flo.
She never knew why.

That almost sounds like an abbreviation of Terry Pratchett's Disc world character called 'Two Flower'.
