5 are going in Warwickshire:https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/local-news/local-lloyds-bank-halifax-branches-29435003

(Whoever wrote the article is stretching the boundries a bit by including Evesham. Good to see the Coventry Telegraph employs journalists with good local knowledgs).

I really have mixed views about this. I worry about the potential downsides, such as internet failure or further restrictions and interference from the government, never mind good old hacking!

Of course, it's all done in the name of the little God of money, Profit! Well, as a Lloyds shareholder, I have opposed branch closures and the slimming down of normal 'teller' services. Unfortunately, I've not noticed share price increases or bigger dividends! In fact, my investment in Lloyds is showing a substantial loss because I invested a few years before the 2008 crash!

It mentions Warwick branch to close. There isn't a Halifax in Wariwick,, So that will be Lloyds. which is a shame if that closes... there is little else there i think except the Coventry building society.

Yes, I think CBS will be the only bank/building society left in Warwick, Margaret. Whereabouts is Lloyds? I can't picture it.
