I knew some who worked with Warwickshire's Social Workers a few years ago. Twice I've been involved with social workers. Whilst I won't say that they're necessarily lazy (admittedly they don't seem to work particularly hard and they go sick at the drop of a hat) I will say that I have never had the displeasure of having to deal with such absolute incompetence in any other sphere of life.
