A 2 mile stretch of the B4086 between Stratford & Wellesbourne was closed for 2 weeks recently while the road was completely rebuilt. A group of locals were up in arms because they had to go a couple of miles out of their way; the same ones who would be complaining about the potholes when the road would have crumbled away in a couple of years time (and would ask why no-one was doing anything about it).
