Hallo everyone.
You appear to have managed very well without me.I have looked from time to time but for various reasons haven't logged on.
It has been a difficult year-perhaps that's not the word I should use, as there is no excuse for laziness.
In July I had a new ankle replacement, the 2nd-which was fine and went well, and meant sitting for 2 months .Handy for logging on to WOL you may think, but honestly I couldn't be bothered with anything-not like me-. Normally I write every day-articles, stories and things.However -enough of these excuses the bionic person is back to her irritating chattering self and ready for your exhilarating 'writings'.
I shall be away for one week from Sunday and shall try to work my new tablet-otherwise you will have to wait for my 'scintillating' wordsof wisdom.(joking) !!

Thank you for the welcome and for Lex reminding me to come back.
For 7 months I was not allowed to drive which in itself can be depressing altho' I wasn't, just fed up until I made myself think of others I have met on this journey and am humbled.I have been lucky. People are kind. I had lifts and help. Fortunately the Birmingham hospital cars picked me up for every appointment and brought me home. Another few months and I'll be galloping.
My daughter was married in October -the most beautiful wedding ever.I walked alone for the first time without my trolly, into the church -well flanked by my two lovely teenage grandsons.
Today I had a new great- grandson, to be called Archie. total is now 3 ..all boys.

I have 2 young squirrells in my garden who bury the most unusual things in a large leaf filled plant pot on my yard.I put pieces of a stale christmas pudding on my bird table-and guess where it ended up?
Just been listening to Question Time on tv. Never heard such a load of waffle by Michael Hesletine and he took up so much time to say it. I was no wiser
