Nearly that time of year again.

Not the fun and frolics of the show, but the fact that it'll take over an hour to get from Kenilworth to Leamington each morning - all 4 miles!!!

It'll be even worse now that the Warwick Road through Leek Wootton is closed.

Can't think of any alternative routes at all

The Royal show's replacement, the Country & Livestock show took place at the weekend, and seemed to very popular.

In later years the Royal Show descended into a rather expensive Sunday market. I hope the replacement doesn't suffer a similar fate

Fingers crossed. I didn't make it this year, hopefully I'll get there in 2014.
