Yes, there will be a few worried people and it could be an expensive time for them if wives/husbands decide to end the marriage over it. When secret affairs are discovered then trust often flies out of the window. Which brings to mind..

"Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive."

I only found out about the ex-wife's shenanigans afterwards. Even now, over 25 years later people are telling me things I didn't know about.

As you say, once the trust goes...

And of course, if you are going to deceive, you need a very good memory. Crumbs, the truth gets me into enough trouble, never mind trying to cover up lies and deceit.

And it appears that the threat has been carried out.

I wonder if we'll see a rise in the divorce statistics?

The fall out rumbles on...

According to the website Political Scrapbook, there are 92 Ministry of Defence email addresses among the leaked details.

The website has found 1,716 email addresses from universities and further education colleges, using the .ac.uk suffix; 124 using .gov.uk; 92 using .mod.uk; 65 local education authorities and schools using .sch.uk; 56 National Heath Service emails and less than 50 police emails (.police.uk)

Detail as provided by a contact within the MOD.

I think there are going to be rather a lot of 'interviews without coffee' being held.

Who are these people who run the Political Scrapbook? Vindictive aggrieved spouses?
Sad but causing many problems to innocents. The guilty will either get found out-or they wont.I don't condone it but people must sort their own lives out.

Cathidaw,

As you say, the guilty have their own cross to bear they have to live with their deceit. I've said it before, the truth gets me into enough trouble, I simply don't have the memory for telling fibs.

However, I have little sympathy for those abusing IT systems that the tax payer foots the bill for, or for those that preach at us.
