Public sector workers were on strike yesterday over pension rights, and claim there will be more.

Am I the only one here who thinks that they are totally selfish, and they should wake up and get in line with the rest of the country?

you seem suprised that public 'service' employees have only a vague understanding of the real world, complain all the time and strike at the drop of a hat. imagine how suprised you will be when you find out how much money they are wasting at this time of year just to keep there budgets for next year...
and cue much bleating about how hard it is working in the public sector...

I agree Lex, sure they may have a tough job (although we only have thier word for that), but so do plenty of other people who don't get half of what they do.

Its all a load of crap as far as I am concerned! They are all throwing thier toys out of the pram!

I mean c'mon look at the people out there who have lost thier jobs this year! They should be greayeful they have a job, button it and get on with it! This stupid strike business will not help anyone in the long run!

As for the royal mail - I agree with you Lex, eventually there will be no Royal Mail, Or ROYAL FAIL as we dcall it here! At least not in the way that we see it now! So many other companies are just waiting to step into thier shoes and take over! Threy are doing more harm than good with all this and may eventually have no jobs to strike over! TNT are just waiting there along with a few othwers to grab the contracts and step in! And wuith things the way that they are why shouldn't they?
