Many of us did see it coming, the inept government didn't!

£92 billion has been taken out of the UK. Nobody saw that coming: https://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news/20 ... ews-59431/

Echoes of 'Define a worker, Sir Kier'.

I missed that - rarely bother with the news nowadays.

I see the 'fiscal drag queen' is doing the rounds this morning. She's a deluded muppet, as well as a liar!

I tried, Lex.

I think it's either a spoof or has been taken down.

I believe there's a petition on the government website demanding that Reeves is forced to sit a maths O-level.

Might be an interesting parliamentary debate!

The Lib Dems are calling for a VAT cut for the hospitality industry: https://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news/st ... usinesses/

It ain't going to happen.

To be fair, Lex, we're far enough away from an election that any detail now would be meaningless, as it'd have to be changed beforehand.

I see nothing wrong (at this stage) with him floating 'loose' policy ideas, but recognising they will need to be firmed up before the election.

All that said, a 'snap' election might catch Reform on the hop.

He might be ok if he actually came up with some thought out policies. As far as I can tell, he just seems to come out with whatever gets him attention.

I must say, I quite like Farage and he has held a real job down and understands money, etc..

I suspect that what he'll need to do is draw in outside expertise to form a government. Of course, he might decide to stand down in favour of Zia?

God help us! I'm dreading the next election, as it looks like we'll be getting Gobs**** Farage runnuing things.
