Starmer doesn't seem to be inclined to act on this, thus living up to his nickname of Two Tier. Butler should be suspended for her disgraceful actions.

I think Dawn Butler (Labour and of Jamaican extraction) is facing the music over this. But remember, only good old whitey can be racist, everything else is 'banter'! :( :( :(

Apparently, she's already been called a white person in a black skin....
The Conservatives could make huge amounts of political capital out of this (Kemi, plus 2 ethnic minority PMs - Benjamin Disraili, Rishi Sunak - and 3 female PMs), while playing on the fact that Labour has only had a line of white male leaders.

PMQs might get interesting.
Let's see the left start calling her a far-right racist!

Union general secretaries generally seem to float around in the gravy boat too.

Oh yes, Lex. They're all on the What's In It For Me game. Never seen a poor politician, have you?

My bet is that Kemi Bedenoch will be the first black female PM of the UK. It's a few years away yet, but she has what it takes if she stays the course.

Conservative Leadership Race
The only one of the remaining candidates I've heard of is James Cleverly: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13834813/Mel-Stride-latest-Tory-leader-hopeful-ousted-Robert-Jenrick-tops-ballot-MPs-James-Cleverly-overtakes-Kemi-Badenoch-second-place-battle-shifting-party-conference.html
