Ford - Chilvers Coton
Hi

I recently found out that my grandfather was born in Chilvers Coton in 1875. It's taken me years to track him down, my mam always thought he was born in Ireland, although he didn't have a strong accent. In fact his parents and most of the neighbours were from Mayo, Ireland.

It's a long story, but during WW1 he was shellshocked, and left behind a wife and three children. He then met my grandmother and went on to have two more children. He never went back to Nuneaton (I found out about the merger). My mam doesn't know about any of this, but I've now found relations through his first family, and his sister's family who I'm in contact with.

The last known address he lived at before he disappeared was Coventry Road. His name was Thomas Ford. Any help would be appreciated.

Rosemary
