Fox at Loxley
Hi all, I wonder if any of you good people could help me at all. My G/Grandparents, Sarah Ann & Wilson Cresswell, were at one time licensee` of the Fox Inn at Loxley. It was a long long time ago admittedly, Wilson died in 1902, and at some time Sarah Ann moved out of the pub but still lived in the village, I believe in one of the cottages along side the Fox but I don`t know where exactly. Would anyone have any knowledge of where she did live. Sarah remained in Loxley until she died in 1949, and I found her grave in the overspill cemetary opposite the church. Clutching at straws I know, but if you don`t ask ................... anything would be appreciated - Thanks. Cresser.
