I find this incredibly ironic when we're being told that we're about to face clean air charges.

Here are the road closures for this year's Motofest: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-motofest-road-closures-16303837

I'm really not sure about racing on public roads. The roads aren't built for it and an accident could do a lot of expensive damage.

Sounds like a typical weekend in Cov!

Too much port & good living Rebbonk!

Cheers Lex.

The attacks seem to be getting more frequent the older I get, but the intensity isn't usually as bad as this time. They do call gout the 'rich man's' disease don't they? ;)

Hope your foot clears up soon Rebbonk. Fingers crossed the festival will be back next year.

Sadly, no.

I'm currently suffering a nasty bout of gout to my left foot. I'm just about managing to hobble round walking the dog: a crowd and being on my feet for a couple of hours is a definite no, no. Shame though, it looks a decent offering. Maybe next year?
