On another wild and windy day; where the brollies are inside out
Crystal balls of frozen ice fell heavily round and about.
They sting your face, they sting your hands and finally meet the ground
Then lo and not the least, behold; prepare for another round!

Driving along a country lane, one evening recently
I stopped, I blinked, and blinked again at what my eyes could see.
I'd heard of rain, (and cats, and dogs-)
but never ever raining frogs.

Conducting tides; nature's symphony
Lapping at shores; the churning of seas.
Moody, it changes from angry to calm
A new manuscript; inspiration; a soothing balm.

As the grey gives way to indigo
and the harsh wind takes it slow
the floods will start subsiding soon
less affected by the Moon....

Rain, Sunshine or Cloudy Weather.
23 January 2008

The day began as usual; the sky all coloured grey
"Not rain *again* - it's always wet! - Will it ever go away!"
No sooner had I said the words when the sun came shining through!
But before I could enjoy the warmth, behind a cloud, it soon withdrew.
