Is the Answer in the Intepretation or the Perception?
I spotted a very overfull skip that had a lid today. The lid was like a sloping roof. Anyway, next to the name of the company on the skip was a notice which said "Level Loads Only." My question would be:

Level to what?
(a) The sky?
(b) The fence behind?
(c) The lower edge of the skip?
(d) The hinged top of the sloping lid?
(d) The roof of the car parked next to it?

Or just level across the top, doesn't matter if the lid doesn't go down, just so long as it is level. I guess you need to be level headed about it. Now there is another option:

(e) The top of your head?

Who knows, but it was an incredible amount of cardboard etc.. A perfect fire hazard and uncovered.
