Battle Of The Bargain Basements!
It was funny to see the two 'bargain basement' shops at the bottom of the Parade having it out this week. The pound shop 'Bargain Crazy' has just opened only 2 doors down from the original bargain/low price shop that's been there for a while.

Most noticeably, the longer-standing shop has plastered every available window with 'lots of stock 89p' and 'why pay £1 when you can pay 89p' posters, and there are lots of neon sticky stars over everything.

I'd love to see what the next stage is - newspaper smear campaigns? :D
