That makes me quite angry to hear that he didn't care at all, surely he should embrace a website like this. I can't help thinking that this Martyn Luscombe is only in it for the power trip, what a pity.

Hi Sandman,

Thank you for that, yes I was aware of them and did in fact contact Martyn Luscombe (the acting chairman) as soon as I'd finished reading the article. I may be wrong, but the vibe I was getting from him was that he wasn't interested. It was most dissapointing, and certainly not what I'd expected. It's a shame really.

I'll try contacting them again then, as you say, this site would be perfect for them and I'd be happy to see this site fulfilling it's function. :)

Hi Will,

I don't know if you've caught this week's Hearald, but there's a group in Stratford calling themselves 'The Voice of Stratford', and they campaign and talk about a lot of the issues mentioned here. There's about 200 of them as well, sounds like you could all come to a mutally beneficial agreement. :)
