Stradford's taxis have been overpriced for decades (the council made us do it, the taxi drivers cry). Stratford won't be able to get rid of UBER, and has become a victim of its complacency (same with tourism).

Most of Coventry's Uber (or whatever) drivers are actually licenced in Wolverhampton! Central government stopped local councils from protecting their own.
Personally speaking, I'd never use an Uber.
