I used an independent/artisan bakery just outside Stratford for a while before the couple decided to retire. Their bread was a hell of a lot better than the stuff you get in supermarkets.

Years ago I worked with a chap who had trained as a master baker. (He was working as a progress chaser in a car factory.) On many an occasion, we would discuss if the Stratford/Warwick area was the right market for such a venture. After I had a spell working in France I was convinced the idea would work. I wish them well.
