I fear that many councils will be doing similar, Lex. Those increases look pretty steep to me.

Expansion of Fisherman's Car Park
This has been rumbling on for a few months now - the creation of a 'Country Park', and increasing the size of the car park (although, I think the plan's been scaled down to 150 spaces): https://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news/anglers-criticise-riverside-project-car-park-plans/
